Hello Tuesday! I hope everyone is off a great start on this week. Today I want to share a super sweet couple + their darling 4 legged fur baby (I can totally relate!) at one of my fav places in San Diego – Balboa Park! Eddie and Melanie are high school sweethearts who have gone through all kinds of life’s adventures and trials together. As I spy from behind my camera (Sorry guys! You’ve asked for it!), I can see in their demeanor the utmost love, care and respect they have for each other. It’s amazing to witness an ever lasting relationship like this and I am so honored to be the one capturing it! Also, by the looks of how spoiled Hiro is, I’d say they are definitely well on their way to start a perfect little family :).
Last weekend before heading to a weekend of adventures – white water rafting on Kern River in Bakersfield – we thought, why not throw in an engagement shoot if Joce and Russ are up for it? We had big plans to shoot in Kings Canyon where giant sequoias are abundant. However, it wasn’t meant to be – who knew Bakersfield was still 100 miles away from the heart of the forest??? Anyway, we didn’t let that spoil the fun – somehow we were able to find a small body of water, that is Lake Ming, a midst the desert. I almost wanna bet we are pioneering Lake Ming as an engagement shoot location. At first, the prospects looked grim but 15 minutes into the shoot we were banging out sweet shots one after another….see it for yourself!
As I’ve mentioned before, I DIG beach weddings. Needless to say when Celine reached out to me about her beach wedding – I was thinking, girl, you had me at beach. I wanted to dance on my toes and give her a hug (actually, I DID give her a hug!). Fast forward a few months and there I am, with the sea breeze cheering me on, capturing the most intimate and the sweetest wedding ever. Celine and Dan waited for a long time to tie this knot and you can just tell how much they were soaking up every minute of this celebration. I wish them all the very best!
Just popping in to say a few words on this cute, adorable, CUTE couple – Tetchie and George (did I mention adorable?)! Being the train fanatics that they are, what better place to get photos than at the Old Poway Park? They slipped right into their element and were ready for their pinup shots the second they arrived. Jeff and I had such a blast clickin’ away because they are fun, bubbly and SO into each other. We also got to hit up Torrey Pines beach right before the sunset and it was just the perfect way to wrap up the day. Here’s a sneak and the rest are worth waiting for!
Why yes, I’m back from Vegas! I had quite a whirlwind of a weekend appearing both as guest and as photographer for Janet and Shen’s wedding. Janet has been a dear friend of mine for more than 15 years, near or far. It only seemed like yesterday when we giggled and laughed about who among our posse would be the first to tie the knot (I guess I won?) Needless to say, I am incredibly excited for her that she has found Shen to share her life with and that now we can debate on who will be the first to have a baby (Janet, YOU FIRST!). I am so happy for the both of them and I wish them everlasting love, friendship and support!
Now, let’s sneak-a-peek at their intimate yet fabulous New York-New York, Las Vegas wedding!
